Howard’s Hurdles is a small, family run business based in the heart of the Lake District. Formally known under Mr I Askew, we took the business over in 2019, and having since expanded the production of hurdles, we now produce lamb adopters and more.
The family team is made up of Paul, Lesley and Amy Howard. Lesley is the force behind the hurdles, making everything by hand at our home in Kendal. Paul is the general dog’s body, moving and staking the hurdles as per Lesley’s demands! Amy is your first point of contact and is behind the advertisement, sales and all orders (whilst also telling the others what to do!)
We pride ourselves on using local saw mills which provide our sustainably sourced timber.
